I'm a 34 year old survivor living with the taunting episodes of Sickle Cell Anemia Disease. The disease has taken me down many dark roads, but never a dead end. I'm still here and thankful for my life today.smile

Nita,

this is a great Job. In uganda we are running with the awareness through rotary clubs.

I just read something and I would like to know.  I did stem cell banking when I got my baby girl four months back. However My baby is also a carrier, do you think the marrow transplant can work??

Thanks Nita
