As far as us World Sickle Cell Disease Day observance program is a power full weapon for gaining some kind of patients rights from the ruling authority.In the prelude of this SCD Day celebration,our Chief Minister of Kerala declared that all SCD patients will get one thousand rupees as a monthly pension.Now our finance minister again declared that all Sickle Cell Anemia and Thalassemia patients will get two Lakh rupees from Karunya benevolent Lottery fund for their treatment.We have been fighting for more than one and half decades for getting this kind of benefits.We also had raised this like issues in all SCD Day program.Now we are preparing to celebrate this Day more vehemently.Wish you all the best!
